Forming habits
Keeping it simple and getting there.
Today’s brain teaser is a simple and fun one:
Several voices were heard coming from the other room. There was a lot of commotion however when the room was checked there was only one person inside. This person's not crazy, so what's going on?
Answer, as usual, at the end.

What’s a habit?
Simply put, it’s when things become a second nature to you.
If you’re not into working out, going to the gym is a drag. If it has become a habit, you start getting jumpy if you don’t work out for longer periods of time.
Because forming (or losing) habits is such a personal experience, there are a lot of myths and “lifehacks” around the topic.
Some say it takes 21 days to form a habit. Apparently, it’s bullshit.
Others say there are 4 stages to forming a habit.
Because we’re always bombarded with information or being manipulated into forming unconscious habits (checking our phones, refreshing our feed, tapping for rewards etc.), more and more people are looking at ways to form conscious healthy habits.
A lot of the time, if you go down the information rabbit hole, you’ll realize there’s no single good answer.
I use to be there as well. Rather than starting, I was researching the best way to do X or Y.
Regardless of what other ways you have to improve habit forming, one part is key - repetition.
Habits are something you do repeatedly for long periods of times. So if you want working out to become a second nature, start doing it in small doses daily, no matter what.
Starting somewhere and figuring stuff along the way is always better than being stuck in decision making limbo.
Answer: the voices were coming from the TV that was left on.
